Along charming Bygdøy allé, Bombay Blues is a warm and welcoming Indian neighbourhood restaurant built on passion, friendship and a deep love of authentic food. It was founded by three dedicated restaurant and hospitality professionals whose careers have taken them around the world. Their culinary roots remain firmly planted in the vibrant food culture of Mumbai — the city many have long known as Bombay.
The name Bombay Blues pays tribute to this vibrant culinary capital. Bombay is where all three founders learned their craft, developed their understanding of flavour and discovered the magic of hospitality. Its bustling streets, fragrant spice markets and diverse kitchens continue to inspire both the food and the soul of the restaurant. At its heart, Bombay Blues is a neighbourhood kitchen passionately dedicated to authentic Indian soul food.
The team believes good food is about more than recipes: it is about warmth, generosity and the pleasure of sharing a meal. Every dish is prepared with care, respect for tradition and a sincere wish to give guests a comfortable and memorable dining experience.
